Material: High-fire stoneware clay with lead-safe glaze

Care

Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

    Good shortbread pan! Nice design, with many other design options, and good quality . Only four stars because there should be instructions on how to prepare the pan for first use. A spray of oil doesn’t cut it. That was from the recipe on the back of the box. My daughter tried it and her shortbread stuck badly. I treated mine like a cast iron skillet and coated with shortening and heated it, then let the grease soak in before I used it. Better results!
    Emerson Pottery is wonderful. I ordered two pans right before Christmas, thinking they’d arrive after Christmas. I was surprised and delighted that they arrived before.

    After a disappointing wrong order from elsewhere, Emerson Creek Pottery came through for me with the correct British Isle Shortbread pan in time for me to make shortbread for Christmas gifts. The pan is easy to clean and does a great job of imprinting the designs into to shortbread. From my first batch to last I’ve not had a less than fantastic result.

    This pan does not look like it has the cut lines?? Is it easily cut into pie shape without crumbling????

      You should be able to cut it into slices without it crumbling too much. We suggest cutting along the lines in the star for best results.
