Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

Same criticism as the copper clay classic cup. Can’t recommend due to design defect of the lip, which causes drips.

Handsome mug, but a nuisance to use. The lip is too broadly rounded, allowing liquid to lay atop it, some if which then runs toward the outside of the cup and down the side. Every sip results in a drip. Necessary to place a napkin beneath the cup to absorb the drips. Cannot recommend cup due to this design defect.

Very attractive color and looks good set out on a kitchen counter. Has a rough base, not suited for highly polished surfaces that can be easily scratched. As for practicality, it falls short of receiving a 5 star recommendation. The lip of the cup is poorly designed, being thick and broadly rounded, so that when coffee is sipped some remains on the lip and rolls off to run down the outside of the cup. Every sip results in a drip. I’ve learned to set the cup down on a paper napkin. eliminating having to wipe the drip off the side of the cup. Due to this annoying feature, I’ve given the item 3 stars, and really can’t recommend it.

I think the mug’s shape is gorgeous, its capacity is generous, it’s stable, keeps drinks hot, and i’m especially thrilled it’s lead and cadmium free. Despite the small opening, i can fit my hand all the way in to handwash. Even tho the base is a rough texture, i don’t mind, it gives me an excuse to use my pretty collection of coasters. Favorite mugs ever.
