Each ceramic teapot is hand-finished in our Virginia studio with lead-safe glazes, making every one of our unique teapots a little bit different from the last. From a unique hand painted teapot design to minimalist teapot colors, these are pieces made to cherish.

Usage Reminder: This is ceramic pottery. Never use on an open flame or any stovetop. This teapot is designed for bagged tea or loose-leaf tea in a strainer. We do not recommend loose-leaf tea directly inside the teapot as it can get stuck in the spout.
Inspired by the Virginia state flower, our Dogwood pottery collection features large white flowers on a matte sandy-colored glaze base. Our Dogwood collection offers a unique tactile experience for users.

Care
Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

It is such a joy to use this teapot! I love the dogwood design as it means a lot to me. And your commitment to lead free pottery is what really sold me here. The only complaint, if I may, is that the waterway in the spout is so narrow and thus takes a very long time to pour the tea into the teacups. But all in all, so beautiful and functional. Thank you.

This is our second Emerson Creek teapot. We had our first one for nearly 20 years, and after it accidentally broke we tried to use our other teapots as our ‘everyday teapot’ but really missed our old teapot from Emerson Creek. Owning a piece of American pottery feels liberating! The quality of the teapot is impeccable. American Blue is a rich color that is classic and timeless. I rated 5 stars for a reason. The only minor issue is the lid catchment not being substantial enough to keep the lid on during serving. However, an index finger pressing on the lid knob will keep it on. I will be ordering more stoneware from Emerson Creek Pottery.
