Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

I bought the pitcher and soap for kitchen, both blue berry pattern. Background color, white, is a different white on the 2 items. Better white on soap dish. I kept both and are using in kitchen.

I have several patterns of EC but go green is my favorite. I have hairline cracks in other pieces and the glaze on my copper clay pieces looks worn on the plates. My daughter has experienced cracks in many of her pieces as well and recently made the sad decision to remove all of the EC pieces that she had on her wedding registry off. She and I take great care with our pieces and this shouldn’t happen with every day careful use. We would appreciate it if Emerson Creek would make good on the items that have not performed well. We would love to continue to support Emerson Creek.

Love the creamy color of pearl. The iced tea pitcher has that farmhouse look. It would make a great gift. I was gonna put my utensils in it, but it’s just too pretty for that. Literally, GORGEOUS! Shasta daisies from front yard in twin pitchers. Central plate on stand in the photo from post WWII occupied Japan (my Mother was there,) candlesticks from Portugal, assorted rocks and fossils. EXACTLY what I envisioned when I ordered the pitchers! Love it! 2nd photo shows a better view of the pitchers, sorry!
