About

We believe the best kitchen tools are the ones you never want to hide away. Our handmade pottery pitchers are painted with such artistry that they often spend more time as a centerpiece than they do in the cupboard. In fact, we love seeing how our customers repurpose them to display fresh bouquets around their homes.

This is functional art that works hard, too. The dense stoneware naturally insulates your beverages, keeping your iced tea frosty cold or your holiday cider steaming hot long after you’ve poured the first round. With a generous 54 oz. capacity, you can keep the conversation flowing without constantly running back to the fridge.

Ways to Use Your Pitcher:

  • A stunning vase for fresh flowers
  • Heated server for hot cocoa
  • Chilled server for cold drinks
Red Poppy

As a symbol of remembrance and hope for a peaceful future, our Red Poppy pottery collection is a favorite among military families. Happy red flowers on a pearly white background make these dishes pop!

Details & Care

Material: High-fire stoneware clay with lead-safe glaze

Care

Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

Very nice pitcher. I wish you would make a larger pitcher but I’m very happy
    With this product.

I bought the pitcher and soap for kitchen, both blue berry pattern. Background color, white, is a different white on the 2 items. Better white on soap dish. I kept both and are using in kitchen.

Thank you for your review, Joyce! Sometimes our glazes vary between batches — a risk of handmade pottery, we’re afraid! Thank you for your kind words.

Bought two of these. They are incredibly beautiful with a graceful line and balance that you don’t usually find in earthenware. I’m displaying them in my home as usable art. Many thanks! (Also, incredibly carefully packed for shipment…bravo!)

The pitcher appeared to be of high quality but it was not a color that I wanted and it was smaller than what I want.

  14. Sandra G Tupper –

I gave this gift to my family in Canada and they loved the ice tea pitcher. I have the Iris pitcher. I love the size and design!!

I have several patterns of EC but go green is my favorite. I have hairline cracks in other pieces and the glaze on my copper clay pieces looks worn on the plates. My daughter has experienced cracks in many of her pieces as well and recently made the sad decision to remove all of the EC pieces that she had on her wedding registry off. She and I take great care with our pieces and this shouldn’t happen with every day careful use. We would appreciate it if Emerson Creek would make good on the items that have not performed well. We would love to continue to support Emerson Creek.

Love the creamy color of pearl. The iced tea pitcher has that farmhouse look. It would make a great gift. I was gonna put my utensils in it, but it’s just too pretty for that. As usual, it came packed with great care. I am so impressed at the talent it took to make such a beautiful pitcher. I always look for Made in U.S.A. Thank You!

Literally, GORGEOUS! Shasta daisies from front yard in twin pitchers. Central plate on stand in the photo from post WWII occupied Japan (my Mother was there,) candlesticks from Portugal, assorted rocks and fossils. EXACTLY what I envisioned when I ordered the pitchers! Love it! 2nd photo shows a better view of the pitchers, sorry!
