I am so glad that I found this company and this product. It’s superbly made, very simple but beautiful, and it bakes my long-fermented whole grain sourdough loaves beautifully. The shape is perfect. Some may not know that whole grain sourdough requires the dough to be wetter than when using white flour. This leads to broad, flat loaves. Having a long, narrow baker restricts this spreading width-wise, allowing better rising upward. This is a perfect baker, and I’ll probably be purchasing another one soon.

I have been using my grandmother’s cast iron dutch oven for my whole wheat sourdough and desem breads and it works great, but I wanted a loaf shape that would be easier for us to use for sandwiches. This baker worked beautifully. I preheated both the top and bottom to 500 degrees and turned my proofed loaf into the pan. It baked for 20 minutes at 475 covered and then another 10-15 at 450 uncovered. The crust was awesome and not as hard as in the dutch oven – easier to cut and more delicious. I am very happy with the purchase. —And customer service was very helpful, as well.

Fantastic Bread Baker!!!
I received this as a present, and I found it to be one of the best covered bakers on the market today. After we all had to stay home, the old trusty bread machine came back out of hiding and onto making loaves, but somehow they were lacking in the personality department, but not when you take your dough and put it in this, what a loaf. Makes a fabulous “Big” sandwich and people are very impressed when given this loaf. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in making that artisan loaf that is so illusive with a bread machine.
