Since it is a true 16 oz mug, it holds a serious amount of coffee and tea. We craft these coffee mugs in the USA using safe, non-toxic materials.

Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Hand-painted designs hold their color for decades with normal use. For deep tea or coffee stains, a paste of baking soda and water will lift them without scratching the glaze.

Love the Blueberry design, hate that the bottom marks up my counter/tabletop. Does Emerson sand their unglazed bottom contact area?

We sand the bottom unglazed portion of our products before they ship out, however, if it’s scratching the table, you can use a fine grit sandpaper to make it smoother. It will also become smoother with use. We have heard this feedback from others as well, and we are happy to announce that we have recently added new processes to ensure this issue is resolved. We ordered a whole bunch of items from the Brookline collection. The whole collection is amazing, but these mugs are the stand out. I absolutely love the design. They are by far the coolest mugs I’ve seen. As they say in the description, they do remind me of a good camping mug. The lip is really satisfying to drink out of. This is the perfect mug for a hot morning coffee. If you are filling in your kitchen with other Brookline collection items, absolutely add these.

I would give 0 stars if possible. The 2 cups I received were poor quality. There were drips all over one cup and the other had an uneven lip area where you would be drinking from. We contacted them and they said this is a ‘signature’ design from the artist and refused to replace. If this is a ‘signature’ design why don’t they have pictures on the website of cups with major imperfections?? I do NOT recommend buying anything from this company.

These were purchased for a gift and they were a BIG hit with the recipient. The size shape and pattern make this the perfect mug for morning coffee. They should be sold in pairs because if someone sees you drinking from it, they will want one too.
